§ 110.14. COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD.

  • (A) Items placed on the Greenfield Community Bulletin Board shall not include:
    (1) Any advertisement (other than by governmental agencies or not for profit organizations) that promotes or endorses the sale of any product or service;
    (2) Any direct solicitation of funds;
    (3) Any material that is obscene, indecent, or defamatory;
    (4) Any material that would violate any federal or state statute or law;
    (5) Any material of a partisan political nature.
    (B) (1) Groups or organizations wanting to post information on the Bulletin Board must include the cost of the event, if any, to the viewer.
    (2) Groups must be a not-for-profit organization
    (C) Fund Raisers. Any group or organization may post information about a fund raiser as long as they meet the following criteria:
    (1) They are considered not-for-profit;
    (2) The objective of the fundraiser is not-for-profit, even though the organization or group holding it is not considered not-for-profit. (e.g. local bookstore holds a book drive/fair to raise money for local homeless shelter.)
    (3) When in doubt, stick to event, time and date.
    (D) Groups or organizations wanting to post information on the Bulletin Board must complete a written request including contact name and telephone number.
