§ 52.05. INTERFERENCE WITH OR DAMAGE TO HYDRANTS, CURB BOXES, OR VALVE BOXES.

All persons are forbidden to cover up or in any way interfere with any curb box, valve box, or hydrant. In the case of any automobile or vehicular accident involving the breaking or disconnection of a fire hydrant, the car owner causing such interference shall pay for the repair of the hydrant, curb or valve boxes.
