§ 30.07.1. BANK ACCOUNTS.

The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to open a passbook savings account, and is authorized to execute all documents necessary to open said account, or accounts, and is further authorized to invest as much as possible of the city's funds in Certificates of Deposit, passbook savings accounts, or any United States Government Security issued by the Department of Treasury, or Government Agency Securities fully guaranteed by the credit of the Federal Government itself.
